You Bought the Digital File. Here Is How to Print It.

Sign in and open the order. After payment and your final confirmation, the download entry appears on the order page and stays there long term. There is no download limit and no expiry on the entry itself, so you can come back years later and pull the file again.

One thing to know before you click: once a digital file has been downloaded it is non-refundable, because of the nature of digital goods. Before download, the normal refund rules still apply.

• Format: PNG, no watermark, no compression artefacts from a second save.
• Size: roughly 3,584 x 4,800 pixels, a 3:4 portrait shape.
• Colour: sRGB, the same profile we attach to our own production files.
• It is the master, not a copy. For a digital order we hand you the same upscaled file our print pipeline would use, uncropped and uncomposited.

Effective DPI at common sizes, using a file about 3,584 pixels wide:

• 8x10 inches: about 448 DPI (needs a small crop, the shape is not 3:4)
• A4: about 433 DPI (leaves a thin band, A sizes are not 3:4)
• A3: about 306 DPI — an excellent match
• 12x16 inches: about 299 DPI — exact shape match, our recommendation
• 16x20 inches: about 224 DPI (needs a small crop)
• 18x24 inches: about 199 DPI — exact shape match, still fine on a wall
• A2: about 217 DPI

12x16, 18x24 and 24x36 inches are exactly 3:4, so they crop nothing. Anything larger than 18x24 drops under the 150 DPI floor we apply to our own products, and we would not print it ourselves.

Five sentences that prevent almost every bad print:

• Print at 100 percent, actual size. Do not scale up to fit the paper.
• The file is sRGB. Please do not apply auto colour correction or auto enhance.
• Matte or luster photo paper, not glossy, if you plan to frame it behind glass.
• The image is 3:4. On A-series paper, keep a border rather than cropping.
• No sharpening filter. The file is already prepared for print.

The file has already been enlarged once. Passing it through a second upscaling tool usually adds plastic-looking texture rather than detail, and it is the most common way a good file turns into a disappointing print. If you need a size the file cannot hold at 150 DPI, print smaller instead.

The digital file is for personal use. You may print it yourself for personal purposes, including by sending it to a print shop, and you may print it more than once. Large-scale commercial resale is not permitted. The full wording is in the digital delivery section of our Terms.
